The person signing the rental contract will be held responsible for all costs incurred for rental and for any damage to the room and/or equipment.

ROOMS & FEES:

Fees include facility, tables & chairs and coffee, tea & water, unless otherwise noted. There is a maximum number of persons suitable for each facility within Famous Fossil Winery. See below for details.

All reservations must include time for set up and clean up. Any time beyond the prearranged hourse is charged at an hourly rate.

The Renter is responsible for payment for additional or any modification of services requested on the day of the event (e.g. food, beverages, decorations, equipment, supplies, set up, waste removal, etc. Tents, banners, portable toilets, heaters, fans, or lights must be secured and removed by the Renter.

The Renter may decorate a rental area with temporary decorations which must be removed immediately following the event. No nails, staples, or tape may be used to affix items to walls or structures. Bubbles are permitted. Use of confetti, birdseed, rice or similar materials will forfeit the damage deposit.

| DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION |
To secure your reservation, we must receive a deposit consisting of 50% of your total fees and a signed contract. We must also receive a damage deposit of $50 when renting the Events Room and $100 for the Whole building, Whole building & grounds or the Pergola & Grounds. If the event is cancelled up to 2 weeks before the scheduled event, 25% of the deposit will be reserved with the remaining deposit returned to the Renter. If the event is cancelled less than 2 weeks before the event, the deposit will not be returned. The damage deposit will be returned if the event is cancelled.

| PAYMENT |
Payment is due upon the completion and cleanup of the event. The deposit will be applied to the final bill. The damage deposit will be returned upon inspection of the facilities three days following the event.

| FOOD & CATERING SERVICES |
All food provided by Famous Fossil Winery or an approved caterer must be arranged by the Renter and is an additional charge to rental and wine fees. One week (7 days) before the event, the Renter must guarantee the number of guests and the wine and menu selection, if applicable. The number of guests guaranteed is the minimum fee for rental, food and any other contracted service. Children over 6 years of age are charged a full fee for food service.
All catered food must be purchased from a licensed caterer, approved by Famous Fossil owners. Caterers will provide staff to set-up, serve and clean up for the event. All catering fees are the responsibility of the Renter. When using a caterer, food servers, special utensils, serving dishes, warmers, etc. and any additonal tables, chairs, decoration, lighting, extension cords, etc. for an event will not be supplied by Famous Fossil Winery and must be secured and paid for by the Renter.

| WINE SELECTION |
Famous Fossil Winery will provide all wine for any event held on Winery property. All wine bottles must be opened and served by Famous Fossil servers. No outside alcoholic beverages may be brought onto Famous Fossil property. Alcoholic beverages may be refused to any person who is not able to verify legal age with proper identification or who is causing damage or disturbance. Any abuse of Famous Fosil policies or any use of alcohol by a minor is grounds for an immediate end to the event. Previous to the reserved event, the Renter may receive a complimentary tasting of wine to aid in the selection of wine.

| SECURITY |
Famous Fossil Winery reserves the right to inspect and monitor all public and private functions. Famous Fossil is unable to assume responsibility for the damage or loss of any merchandise or articles left on the premises before, during or after your function. Please make sure that all personal items are removed at the conclusion of your event. Any items left for 48 hours following the event become the property of Famous Fossil.

| CONCLUSION AND CLEAN-UP |
The party must have cleaned and left Famous Fossil premises at the time named on this contract. All items brought in by the party and/or the caterer must be removed by the Renter. A fee of $50/hour will be assessed for parties remaining after the scheduled time.

| GENERAL |
Please remember that Famous Fossil Vineyard & Winery is a farming and manufacturing operation. Therefore, certain areas of the winery and grounds are off limits to the public. Grapes are not available for picking and the winery area is not open for tours. Please supervise children at all times. No candles are allowed on the property. A gratuity of 15% will be added to the final bill for groups of 10 or more people. We appreciate your use of biodegradable, recycled and recyclable materials and local and organic foods.
